Our Program

The Camp Grafton Society currently offers five weeks of co-ed youth camps.

Leader In Training Program (ages 15 – 17)

Want to be a leader at camp in the future? Interested in learning valuable leadership and interpersonal skills that will prepare you for all kinds of situations? Programming will focus on preparing participants for working as a leader and as member of the camp staff team. Areas such as environmental awareness, program development, communication skills, leadership activities, and other topics will be explored in this intensive program designed for future leaders.

Junior Camp (ages 8 – 11)

This camp session takes into consideration that this is the first time some children may be away from home for an extended period of time. Counselors make sure campers are busy doing all the things they enjoy: crafts, canoeing, hiking, swimming, games, campfire with lots of songs and skits, as well as environmental education. During this session, campers often form friendships that last a lifetime.

Intermediate Camp (ages 12 – 14)
A slightly more adventurous version of Junior Camp, the Intermediates will also do some trail/bridge building, advanced canoe skills (still suitable for beginners) and engage in more in-depth reflection and discussion.

Junior/Intermediate Camp (ages 8 – 14)
The best of both worlds. This camp is a combination of Junior Camp and Intermediate Camp and provides siblings the opportunity to attend camp together.

Senior Camp (ages 15 – 17)
This experience is about fun and leadership development which includes the opportunity to contribute to camp programming and lead activities. Participants of this session will be offered advanced canoe training, outdoor skills and time to relax on the beach. Environmental awareness is incorporated throughout camp life.
