Cook’s Assistant (Volunteer)
RISK ASSESSMENT: MODERATE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 16 years of age 
- Previous experience working in a kitchen that serves large groups of people, preferably in a camp setting is considered an asset. 
- Be able to follow instructions 
- Have BC Food Safe Certification 
DUTIES:
- Complete food preparation tasks as directed by the cook 
- Help serve food and clean up after meals 
- Help maintain a clean workplace and follow a cleaning schedule as outlined in the Camp Grafton Policy Manual. 
- When no kitchen tasks are to be completed, participate in camp activities with permission from the cook. 
- Model enthusiastic, mature leadership to campers and volunteers. 
- Be sensitive to and strive toward fulfilling the Mission of Camp Grafton. 
Weekly honorarium available: $300
