Resource Staff

RISK ASSESSMENT: MODERATE
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be at least 17 years of age 

  • Have previous leadership experience in a Staff capacity, relevant to the camp Summer Program

  • Have experience with, and knowledge of various camp activities for all ages and be able to provide instructions for them (ie. Field games, crafts, wide games, songs, etc.)

  • Drivers license


DUTIES:

  • At the direction of the Executive Director, fill in for a Cabin Leader while that Leader is on break, help staff plan and run a variety of activities, and help Camp run smoothly.

  • Actively participate as a member of the Program Staff team in all aspects of Camp when not leading an activity or supervising a specific group of campers.

  • Model enthusiastic, mature leadership to campers and volunteers.

  • Be sensitive to and strive toward fulfilling the Mission of Camp Grafton.

  • Provide creative age appropriate activities for campers as a scheduled with Executive Director, which reflect the Camp Grafton Mission Statement.

  • Assumes other duties, such as camp cleanup and maintenance, assigned by the director when necessary.

  • Make semi-weekly trips to Scotch Creek for errands including but not limited to garbage drop off, bread pick up. 

Weekly honorarium available: $300
